Ava-Rose

My beautiful friend Mevis (featured in my Maternity Photography Blog post) gave birth to gorgeous Ava-Rose. I will give you a little introduction to how I run my newborn photoshoots.

Little Ava-Rose was very alert and wide awake. We start off by getting the little one fed and milk drunk before wrapping her and attempting to settle her off to sleep.

As she kicked herself free I wrapped her more snugly and she eventually settled her self off to sleep.

Sound asleep...

ahh how cute!

As every baby is different some like to be wrapped others don't no two sessions are exactly the same.

Ava-Rose really liked to be wrapped best.

Look at all her beautiful hair!

I like my sessions to flow nicely so that the colours flow from one to the next and won't look out of place together. Grey was the theme in Mevis's Maternity session so I followed this through into this session.

If there is anything you would like included in your sessions you can let me know when I call to book your appointment and we can include this in your session to make it much more personal.

Mevis brought along her own little crown for this session.

Also if there are any colours that you would like or maybe not so fond of you can also let me know so that we can ensure that we pick the colours you like.

Often the little one will wake during the session and need a top up or have a wee or pooh (which I am used to so don't worry about this) so I will have a few extra blanket or wraps to use in this case.

If baby is not settling in the session, as this can happen I can always arrange another appointment to finish the session.

Family photographs can also be included if siblings are involved I will often arrange this at the beginning or in a second session (at no extra cost) as I find they get bored very quickly, this is all dependant on the age of baby.
