TREASURED MOMENTS
The first few days of your little ones life will pass so quickly. If you would like to have your little one posed into beautiful positions ideally you should book them in to be photographed within the first 21 days of their little lives. However I consider your little one a newborn until they reach 12 weeks old.
Family pictures are so precious and can be included in the newborn photoshoots on request.

Commonly asked Questions:
When should I book my newborn photoshoot?
You can book your newborn photoshoot as early as your 12 week scan all the way to after the little one has arrived. The sooner the better to ensure that you have the date you'd like in my diary. I will photograph your baby from 6 days old until around 12 weeks however if you'd like sleepy curly posed pictures then the sooner the better as babies become less flexible and more awake with time.
What if my baby is overdue?
If your baby is over due then we can reschedule your appointment for a later date.
How long does the newborn photoshoot last?
Typically the newborn photoshoot can last between 2-4 hours, this allows you to feed, change and settle your baby.
Should I feed my baby before my appointment?
Yes, I would feed your baby as you usually would.
Will I need to bring anything along to my newborn photoshoot?
At Annie Walker Photography I have a large collection of props and little outfits to use within your newborn photoshoot. You are welcome to bring along any sentimental items to be included in the photoshoot (i.e special blankets teddies, work uniforms etc)
Can we have family photographs during put newborn session?
Yes you can.
Can siblings and pets be photographed?
Yes they can! Please mention this when your booking so I can prepare in advance for this.
What if my baby won't settle?
This isn't uncommon, babies have a little growth spurt around 2-3 weeks old and feed more than usual so don't always settle. If we discover the little one isn't settling I will book you back in to return another day.
