Karate Portraiture
Karate is something that features quite often in my house, recently my husband gained his black belt and also helps to teach at IESKA Karate Club in Gosport.
The Clubs new venue is situated in the Slaughterhouse and has the most interesting details. While waiting on planning permission the club operates mostly for Squad and Brazilian Jujitsu.
As you can see its very atmospheric.
As part of my growth and personal development as part of the Master Photography Association (MPA) I have decided to cover Karate as my personal project.
I have received a few awards with the MPA with my photographs as a result, which was truly unexpected.
With such an interesting venue and dedicated members the results are always going to be interesting.
The IESKA Karate Club often compete in competitions, and have been very successful in this.
Not the club is not just for kids, there are adult classes available too. I love that the venue allows many different opportunities and will look amazing once planning permission has been approved, but for now I love it just the way it is!
